Review by hotel critic
Palazzo Tempi in San Casciano in Val di Pesa was a delightful escape that perfectly encapsulated Tuscany's charm without the hustle and bustle of nearby Florence. The apartments are not only spacious but also modernly decorated, making it an ideal base for a weekend getaway with friends who share my penchant for aesthetics. We particularly loved the warm communal pool with stunning views – it felt like our own slice of paradise. The layout blew me away: two large bedrooms, each boasting its own bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped for impromptu Italian dinners. The staff was genuinely welcoming, and I appreciated the attention to detail in cleanliness, which I always look for as a photographer who spends ample time in luxurious settings. The location is fantastic, allowing us to bike around the scenic hills and explore local cafes, all while feeling like we were away from the tourist radar. For those fashion enthusiasts considering a stay here, you’re just a short drive from Florence's high-end shopping, yet blissfully far from the throngs. A perfect mix of luxury and leisure, Palazzo Tempi is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Tuscan experience.
